This decision dismissed an appeal by a national football association (FA) against a ruling by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) from May 8, 2023. The CAS had previously rejected the FA's appeal against a decision passed by the FIFA Players’ Status Committee.

Why is this decision important?

The FA alleged that the CAS violated the principles of Pacta Sunt Servanda and Right To Be Heard by not considering material aspects of the case.
